Canuti: Pasta Artigianale introduces new products at Degustazione in collaboration with AppleCore Foods
AppleCore Foods, a leading importer and distributor of quality food products in Malta, held a tasting event in collaboration with Canuti, the traditional Italian pasta makers from Rimini, to introduce the new Canuti filled pastas that will be available to consumers, local restaurants, hotels and catering establishments.
Canuti and AppleCore Foods invited a number of industry players to taste the quality of these products. Canuti have been passionately producing fresh pasta products since 1950.
The tasting, held at the Hilton in St. Julian’s on Monday 28th April, started off with a welcome drink accompanied with deep fried fagottini filled with formaggio e pere drizzled with aceto balsamico and deep fried ravioli filled with asparagus. This was followed by a company presentation that was given by Canuti representatives Franco Di Jorgi and Denis Cecchetti. A total of 10 dishes were served in 90 minutes, giving the audience a taste of the new products.
Commenting on the launch of these new products, Franco Di Jorgi said: “We’re extremely excited to be present in Malta for this Degustazione. Our chef was very pleased to meet the local industry players. Canuti boasts about its careful choices, paying scrupulous attention to detail, artisanal production, freshness and quality of ingredients. The Canuti pasta range now holds more than 150 products, in more than 50 formats.”
