October is synonymous with breast cancer awareness, and this year AppleCore Foods took the initiative of inviting their female staff to undergo breast imaging / breast screening.

As part of the Pink for October drive, AppleCore Foods is sponsoring breast imaging and screening for all female staff members.

AppleCore’s sales director, Antoinette Stellini, stressed on the importance of such efforts “As one might already know, an ultrasound is recommended for women under the age of 40 years, whereas a mammogram is recommended to ladies over 40 years old. We thought of supporting our female members of staff to take such precautionary measures as we firmly believe in a holistic development and care of our staff”.
