AppleCore Foods has launched a nation-wide campaign to promote its iconic butter brand Lurpak, via an up-to €10,000 cash prize campaign.

The campaign, which falls under the umbrella term Kul Għal Qalbek, marks an effort to bring awareness amongst local customers about the benefits of switching to butter, instead of margarine, in our recipes and daily consumption.

AppleCore Foods Brand Manager Chris Zammit Lupi explained, “Our aim is to educate the local market on how the old belief that margarine is healthier than butter, was in fact proven to be false by experts. Interventional cardiology specialists have long been quoted as saying that low-fat products like margarine are often full of sugar and statins, making butter better for heart patients. And what better way to do this than with a special offer and a cash prize!”

The first winners were  Mary Ann Schembri, Valerie Galea, Rose Attard and Rita Aquilina who all picked up a cash prize. More draws will take place in the coming weeks with the grand prize of €4,000 being drawn at the end of May.

To enter the draw, customers must to fill in the coupon that is found under their favourite Lurpak Spreadable butter lid. This lid and the coupon must then be sent to AppleCore Foods.
