Consumers win big with Lurpak Spreadable Butter

The Lurpak Win €10,000 nation-wide campaign has drawn to an end, with the last three lucky winners being awarded attractive cash prizes by AppleCore Foods.

Alfrida Barbara won the Grand Prize worth €4,000 with Nicolette Desira and Susan Farrugia picking up the runners up cash prizes. This brought the total to 11 Lurpak consumers who this year won a prize with Lurpak Spreadable Butter.

The cash prize campaign was organised by food and beverage importers and distributors AppleCore Foods, who launched the campaign earlier on this year as part of their efforts to promote butter as a healthier alternative for everyday cooking and eating.

Thousands of local consumers sent in their coupons and Lurpak Spreadable butter lids in a bid to win one of the many attractive cash prizes at stake.

Lurpak Brand Manager Chris Zammit Lupi explained that the company is very pleased with the overwhelming response from consumers. “We strove to reward our customers once again this year and also thank them for choosing Lurpak Spreadable butter. Congratulations to the winners! We also aimed to raise awareness amongst Maltese consumers on the health benefits of using butter instead of margarine; something which interventional cardiology specialists have repeatedly endorsed.”
