The third edition of VIVANDA took place at MFCC from the 18th till the 21st of February 2016. VIVANDA is an International culinary event focused on Euro Mediterranean gastronomical traditions, cultures and innovations. During this culinary event hundreds of trade visitors are given the opportunity to encounter innovations in the world of food and drink.

the chefRenowned chef Martin Camilleri, was manning the only restaurant ‘The Chef Brasserie’ during the event having the restaurant open from 10:00hrs to 22:00hrs throughout. He was using various AppleCore Foods cheese and salami including brands like: Beretta, Windyridge, Castello and Italia Doc. A Beretta cheese board was given with every platter purchased.

 

Various chefs’ challenges were held, during which local and foreign chefs competed to win prestigious awards and accolades, all under the patronage of the World Association of Chefs Societies – WACS.

Educational talks and entertainment were not lacking during the whole event. Visitors could learn about new products, support the chefs competing, food tasting and also activities for kids. This made the exhibition environment more interesting and attractive to the visitors.
